The project is complete. The new cabinet door blends in seamlessly and looks like it came with the house.

Access to everything stored in the pantry is fantastic now. A complete success, 5 star review from the boss.

The project was started late January 2026. It was finished about three weeks later. I don't work fast, but I get things done. Eventually.

The front hallway is a fine place to store the cabinet door materials. However the boss lady was not impressed.

Demolition has begun. Fortunately there weren't any surprises behind the drywall. So off to a good start.

The new cabinet door fits perfectly in the custom made door jamb. Panel gap is good, everything lines up.

It's happening -- Some trim pieces have been removed and the wall demolition is about to begin.

That obstructing wall's days are numbered! Good riddance!

The new pantry door has been adjusted to avoid hitting the back entry door. If someone accidentally opens the back door the pantry door simply closes on its own without causing any harm. Nice!

The drywall is gone. Now we can see the shelves that were hard to reach.
