step
stool
was
needed
to
reach
the
gable's
overhanging
eaves
and
bargeboards.
The
weathered
wood
was
primed
with
Zinsser
Cover-Stain
and
two
coats
of
flat
white
Kelly-Moore
Acry-Shield
paint
went
on.
I
used
a
professional
fall
protection
harness
system
that
was
secured
to
a
2x4
brace.
The
body
harness
has
a
shock
absorbing
feature
to
reduce
injury
in
a
fall.
Some
fatherly
advice:
The
stool
is
a
horrible
thing
to
use
on
a
scaffold
plank.
Don't
copy
my
bad
idea!
Always
wear
good
safety
gear
and
inspect
it
often.
