Still
dealing
with
the
rain.
It
seems
by
the
time
the
wood
siding
dries
out,
another
storm
moves
in.
So
at
this
point
the
scraping,
sanding,
and
priming
is
barely
moving
forward.
But
some
good
news
--
I
had
success
with
heat
forming
the
big
arch
window's
trim.
I
used
a
220V
powered
PVC
stair
rail
heating
blanket
that
wraps
around
the
plastic
trim.
It
gets
the
PVC
hot
enough
to
become
as
soft
as
cooked
pasta.
The
hot
trim
is
then
bent
to
the
required
shape
and
allowed
to
cool.
Long
story
short,
the
big
arch
window's
10
foot
long
brick
mold
trim
piece
fits
like
a
glove.
The
photo
collage
shows
the
process
I
used
to
make
the
five
foot
diameter
arch
piece.
There's
three
other
smaller
arches
to
do
next.
